Electrician / Electrical Installation Engineer - Retail/ Commercial Sites London

Experience: Seeking 2 x 18th edition Electricians who have commercial or retail experience (not domestic/ residential)

Location 1.: Oxford/ regent Street area of London (Service & Install) 2. OR Nationwide - work from home (Be a Mobile Installer)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, BUPA, Good Hours, Train Travel or Car provided dependant on role.

Salary / Earnings: £60,000 - £100,000+ per annum OTE (Enhanced JIB rates apply for London-based work)

Hours: 9-10 hours per day available (Excellent overtime potential)

We are recruiting for a premier electrical infrastructure and data contractor. Due to massive pipeline growth, we have two distinct routes available depending on your career preferences. Whether you want to focus exclusively on the capital or prefer the variety of a mobile nationwide role, we have a permanent home for you.

Choose Your Route:

Option 1: Electrician for  London Area (Service & Install)

• Focus: Dedicated service, reactive maintenance, and planned installations.
• Environments: Strictly high-profile retail and commercial sites across London.
• Perk: Attracts enhanced JIB rates for working within the London zone, good amount of hours, healthcare, train travel paid into London also!

   

Option 2: Electricians Nationwide (Mobile Electrical Installer - various roles)

• Focus: Large-scale commercial rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and distribution center installs require Electricians for electrical and to work with data installers
• Environments: A mix of commercial and retail sites across the country.
• Perk: Ideal for those who enjoy the road, varied projects, and maximum hours/ benefits whilst permanent with vehicle provided 

   

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality electrical installations, data networking integration, and multi-site rollouts.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and reactive maintenance on commercial and retail power systems.
• Ensure all installations strictly comply with Health & Safety guidelines and the latest wiring regulations.
• Represent the agency and client professionally on-site, delivering neat and compliant workmanship.

   

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Must hold a current 18th Edition wiring regulations certificate.
• Experience: Proven track record in commercial or retail electrical environments (install or service).
• Preference: Clear preference stated upon application whether you want London-Only or Nationwide / Commutable Non-London work.
• Valid ECS/JIB card is highly desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
