FIRE AND SECURITY OPERATIONS MANAGER - Fire & Security / Integrated Security:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Operations Manager to oversee and manage the fire and security company and help with managing day to day operations, as they grow from £3m to £5m and CEO to focus's on sales, bringing in work and creating jobs... which you will progress to delivery.
You as Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of fire and security services, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing operational processes. If you are an ideal candidate you will have a strong background in fire and security systems and possess excellent leadership and managerial skills. You will be out and about in the London on sites, projects, meeting customers, engineers and managing communication, hiring/ progressing engineers and managing job progress.
JOB ROLE AREAS:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the fire and security team, fostering a positive work culture and motivating team members to achieve their goals.
Manage and supervise a team of Security Engineers installers, and support staff, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs to enhance individual and team performance.
Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to fire and security systems.
Conduct regular inspections and audits
Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of fire and security projects, adhering to defined timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, resolve any issues or conflicts, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Act as a point of escalation for client issues, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS for Operations Manager - Fire and Security - Surrey/ London
- In-depth knowledge of security systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Sound knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards for Access Control and CCTV installs
Proficient in project management and aware of the process to manage it
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
