OVERVIEW of Small Works Manager - Installation Manager - Fire Alarms
Overview: We are looking for an experienced Small Works Manager or Installation Manager for a Project Manager role who knows Fire Alarm installs.
This role combines visiting office in Kent twice a week but from Home or visiting projects as necessary the rest of the week (site visits, home planning, etc). Your responsibilities include overseeing fire alarm system installations, Effectively communicating with engineers, subcontractors and clients &ensure quality, timely delivery, managing Projects usually up to £50,000 values, with help for larger.
Clients include Schools, Councils, Offices and Commercial/ Residential ClientsKey Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee fire alarm system installations from planning to completion, including client and contractor coordination.

Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, cost estimates, and identify cost-saving opportunities to stay within budget, P&L.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate fire & security personnel and materials to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion
Experience to be right for Fire Alarm - Install Manager/ Small works Manager role:
- Proven project management or Install Management experience in fire alarms, Fire Detection, etc
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems and regulations - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work 2 days a week in Kent Office
