FIRE ALARM ENGINEER to become STORES MANAGER - c. £40k!

£35-£45k+ High Wycombe area - Are you a Fire Alarm Engineer or Fire alarm Manager (or have been) and want to get off the tools.  Opportunity here to manage stores, stock and use technical and engineering experience to buy equipment, parts and stcom for Fire Detection and Fire Protection Engineers to pick up or have sent to sites. 

Role is to minimise stock, organise stock levels, storage and do purchasing, t help the Fire Alarm engineers, Fire Service engineers and Fire Alarm installation Engineers as well as Support Fire Alarm Project manager and Fire service Manager with the things that the engineers (as you well know) need.

Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Installation and Service Company seek someone to Manage and lead another person, and get equipment, parts out to sites for engineers to install or service engineers to have right stock in vans.  

MUST HAVE FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION OR SERVICE ENGINEER BACKGROUND, SO CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT IS NEEDED FOR ENGINEER

COMPANY + ROLE - To Support Engineers, Manage Stores and Procure for offsite and stores 

• Reduce the stock on shelves and get delivered when needed
• Manage 1 other in stores (so not a manual handling type role)
• Procure from best Fire Alarm, Fire Protection, Fire Detection distributors and suppliers 
• Get delivery dates to coordinate with Fire Detection installation or Fire service engineers schedules
• Purchase, Procure, and Buy what is needed and at the right times and price for Fire Safety type products, spares and consumables
• Use your knowledge of Fire  (or Fire and Security/ Fire & Security/ Fire Protection/ Fire Extinguisher) systems/ equipment to order right things for fire alarm engineers.
• Stores managing of batteries, sensors, panels, detectors, test equipment, panels etc

REQUIREMENTS for Fire Alarm Engineering Stores Manager (suit Senior ENgineer/ experienced seeking static/ office role)

• If you have the Fire alarm engineer or Fire alarm Manager skills needed (have worked for a BAFE/ FIA company before)
• Interested in  buying and managing stores for engineer/ electronic/ electrical type installer and service provider
• Able to organise and get deliveries to multiple destinations and ensure places to store or at right time to coordinate with when needed
• Commutable to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire area
