Why Apply for Fire Project Engineer role (if a Commissioning Engineer to looking to progress to Project Manager, etc!)
- If you are seeking career path to be Project Manager then this could be great move, as client loves to train and progress Fire Project Engineers, and after you commission these large systems and progress things for Projects, can progress yourself also!
- If you are working on smaller projects as a Fire Detection Project Engineer already or a are a Project Manager, who would be keen for a 2-3 year Major Project rather than smaller less challenging ones
- If you are interested in learning more as projects could include Fire Alarms and Fire Suppression, then this would be more challenge.
Requirements -
- Be a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer, Supervisor of Fire Alarm installations and Gaseous Fire Suppression, Senior Fire Commissioning Engineer with Project Management skills as a Lead engineer or ideally would be a Fire Alarm Project Engineer or Gas Suppression and Fire Alarm Project Engineer now!
- You would know BS5839 standards, BAFE, FIA, FGAS etc
- Be keen to be a Project Manager, Installation Manager or Fire Commissioning Manager to progress from Hands on in future!
