Design Engineer / Fire and Security Systems Designer (Fire and Security)

£40-50k + package if Can you Design to BAFE/ FIA/ BS5839 or NSIA NACOSS Standards for Fiure Alarm (Fire Detection) and Electronic Security ( CCTV, Intruder, Access Control). UK SECURITY AND/ OR FIRE DESIGN NEEDED

- £40-50k for designing Fire and Security systems. Lovely company with great passion for customer service, large commercial sites and smaller designs to complete.

Location - Surrey, So if based in London, or commutable too from Berkshire, North Hampshire, middlesex, West Sussex, West London, Hertfordshire or South London this could be for you... as office is in Surrey/ South West London and Senior design role here.

Overview -

We are looking for an experienced Designer, Senior Design Engineer, Security systems designer, possible with past Surveyor, or Fire and Security Design Manager who can do estimation and design of various fire and security systems.

You would be doing the Design work now

The candidate would ideally be from an engineering or sales background (Alarms i.e. Fire Detection and or Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, etc) and actively working within this type of Fire and Security Engineer or Designer/ Estimator of Fire and Security systems role. We are looking for a candidate with F&S design skills.

You would report directly to the Director, MD and work with sales and work to support both the existing client base and the teams, designing and specifying systems.

The role -

• will involve designing a wide range of systems from Fire Detection, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection, Emergency Lighting, etc
• The role suits someone with a technical Security systems background who can learn new systems and technology, in order to verify designs.
• The ideal candidate would already have some experience with producing professional written documentation, including equipment take-offs and technical proposals. But if you have the technical design skills aand are looking for a more senior design engineer or design manager role you can progress
