*FINANCIAL CONTROLLER FOR ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION COMPANY. SO
- Must have understanding of - projects sector from construction, fire and security, installer, telecoms, datacoms, background or similar to understand work in progress or stages payments, etc.
- Must be - Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ FCCA/CIMA) Financial Controller
- Must be - commutable to Richmond, Surbiton, Kingston, Molesey, Twickenham type areas
- Must be - current UK resident with right to work in UK

*ROLE - FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
You would be responsible to Financially Control the finances and Accounts of this Engineering Installation and Maintenance company.
-Maintain the accounting records of the company
-Manage and develop a strong team
-Manage the month end process to a tight timescale
-Prepare the budgets and forecasts and quarterly reports
-Engage with employees in both the office and on the shop floor
-Implement and maintain strong controls within the finance team
-Install revenue reports - invoicing/application. Good understanding of matching concept and application process (knowledge of green/white card system useful).
-Service and Maintenance & Monitoring revenue reports. Understanding of deferred revenue accounting.
-Management of all paperwork surrounding weekly and adhoc payment run for the organisation
-Set up new suppliers and liaise with existing suppliers, credit limits and terms. Oversee systems are up to date with current information on a regular basis.
-Liaise with subcontractors, and manage payments per PM/subby terms.
-Understanding of ARC invoicing/charges
-Understanding of Recharges and reconciliation of supplier payments
-Ad Hoc & House Keeping Duties
-Liaise with Project Manager on a ongoing basis to understand how issues are developing and how they are being resolved for future revenue
- Device and improve new procedures to improve current financial procedures
- Liaising and coordinating with IT
- Liaising and coordinating with lease lines
- Assist with HR related functions and duties
- Experience on Chart of Accounts and Nominal codes
- Maintenance of existence Nominal codes on a daily basis
- Understanding and raising of Accounting Journals in preparation of final accounts

*INDIVIDUAL SPECIFICATION -for Financial Controller/ Finance Controller

- Post Qualified ACA/ FCCA/ ACCA/CIMA (Fire or Security Industry useful - but MUST have some engineering/ Project understanding to be able to manage the financing in stages/ milestones)
- Strong attention to detail with analytical background.
- Good business understanding
- Good knowledge of excel.
- Good Communication skill and interpersonal skill.
